The Art of Bringing Champagne to Life:

Maugran Champagnes are crafted using the traditional Champagne method, ensuring authenticity, finesse, and elegance.

  • After a careful hand harvest, gentle pressing delicately extracts the grape juice.

  • The first fermentation transforms this juice into still wine, forming the base for the blend.

  • Each cuvée is composed through the precise blending of Champagne’s characteristic grape varieties (Pinot Noir, Meunier, Chardonnay), according to the style unique to each cuvée.

  • Bottling is accompanied by the addition of yeast and sugar to trigger the second fermentation in the bottle, creating natural effervescence.

  • Aging on the lees lasts a minimum of 3 years, adding aromatic complexity, texture, and finesse.

  • Riddling and disgorging remove sediment, ensuring clarity and purity.

  • The dosage liqueur is precisely adjusted according to the style of each cuvée (Extra Brut, Brut, Rosé).

  • An additional refinement of 2 to 6 months after dosage allows each Champagne to harmonize fully before release.

Each Maugran cuvée reflects a commitment to quality, respect for the terroir, and an elegant, authentic expression of Champagne.

Creating Maugran is our shared love for refined gastronomy, authentic flavors, and those precious moments savored around an exceptional table. Champagne naturally finds its place here, as the ultimate expression of elegance and refinement.

Maugran is a Luxembourgish brand, proudly rooted in a land where the “Charlotte” rose, in tribute to the Grand Duchess, symbolizes elegance and resilience. This same spirit is what we aim to infuse into each of our cuvées.

Today, Maison Maugran offers four distinct expressions, each reflecting a subtle balance, rare purity, and timeless emotion—a true homage to the art of Champagne!
